I have been really impressed with all the work the children in Robinson Class have completed this week.  We have been looking at the story of Cinderella after the visit to see the story played on stage last week and all the children were able to make a sentence about the story after making magic wands like the Fairy Godmother used and finding out if anyone in our classroom had the right sized foot to fit the ‘glass slipper’.

At the end of the week we joined year one out at forest school where we made bird feeders using cereal hoops and pipe cleaners. We threaded the hoops on to the pipe cleaners and then twisted them to make circles before working as team to put them together.  We talked about which birds might come and eat the cereal over the weekend.  Can you remember the name of the birds we talked about and looked up? I am looking forward to going to look with you all on Monday to see if any of the cereal has been eaten.
